Aquaponics Ted Talk

This video is an amazing look at how we have the tools to grow enough food to meet the demands of a rising world population.  Aquaponics uses minimal inputs (water, energy, and fish food) to produce an abundance of food products — tilapia, vegetables, prawns, and even chicken eggs.  Check out the video for details on how each species works together, simulating the efficiency of a real ecosystem.   The interconnections between them allow us to get maximal outputs from minimal inputs. Exciting stuff, no?

We’ll see you at the work day later today!
