Herb and Tea Processing Workday

One of our goals this year at Wild Roots is to become financially self-sufficient through grants, donations, and sales of our produce and herbs.  Last year, at the end of the growing season, we harvested a variety of herbs and dried them in order to sell them later.  On Sunday, we had our final workday to process those herbs.  We labelled all of our dried herbs (basil, sage, and thyme) and mixed our signature Wild Roots tea (mostly mint with hints of basil flowers and bee balm), filling in press-and-brew tea bags which close when you iron them.  Here are some pictures of WR Exec hard at work to bring in the dough.

Stay tuned for upcoming announcements about herb and tea sales!
